IMG engages industry professionals, academics, thought leaders, and students to help our members deepen their industry knowledge, technical acumen, and practical skills required to succeed in both investment and business roles.
Our career development programs include:
Investment Management Group (IMG) Bootcamp
First-year members engage in a multi-week training program during fall recruitment to learn about the different roles in the investment management industry and receive in-depth training on macro investment trends and fundamental research skills. Throughout the fall, students will learn the research process for developing stock/bond pitches, financial models and valuation methods. IMG Bootcamp sessions are run by second-year students and Booth faculty.
Lunch & Learns
To help expand students’ industry knowledge, sponsor firms will discuss areas of interest with our members either in-person or virtually. Lunch & Learns give our members access to leading professionals’ insights and provide regular opportunities to connect with top firms.
Company Events
Throughout the year, we co-host company-specific social events such as happy hours and networking events with our students and sponsor firms. These events provide another great avenue for our members to connect with industry professionals in a more casual setting.
